The East Orlando Post is run by entrepreneur Jacob Engels, a member of one of the founding families of Avalon Park and longtime East Orlando resident. Everyone at the Post from the writers to photographers are local residents. That’s how we prefer to do things. We want to give East Orlando a news source that is part of their communities and run by people who actually live there.
