Trump Ally Facing Pro-DEI & Anti-Gun Opponent In GOP Primary Election

Judson Sapp, a Trump Victory Committee member and business owner, is campaigning to be the next State House Representative in Florida’s 20th House District against Jamie Watts, an improperly vetted opponent who supports DEI and has a horrible background on the 2nd Amendment.

Judson Sapp, a Trump Victory Committee member who has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for President Trump’s campaigns for the White House, has mounted a campaign for State Representative in Florida’s 20th State House District.

During Sapp’s previous run for United States Congress in North Florida in 2020, he called for the jailing of Antifa, the Deep State, and railed against the impeachment efforts against President Donald J. Trump. AS CEO of WJ Sapp Railroad Contractor, Sapp’s company services and helps maintain railways all across the Southeast, Sapp even suspended his campaign to focus on assisting President Trump fix supply chain issues during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Unfortunately for Sapp, he is stuck in a GOP primary against an improperly vetted opponent. The opponent, Jamie Watts, is a Mayor of a small Florida town (Welaka, FL) in Northern Florida, who was recently busted for sexting the town’s Deputy Clerk that was later terminated, according to Florida’s Voice and Action News Jax.

Watts even told the Palataka Daily News that he was in support of DEI policies, yes the same DEI polices that serve as a tool of reverse racism in the Florida, the United States, and beyond.

“Diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs are important for creating opportunities,” explained watts.

And as if that wasn’t bad enough, Florida Gun Owners posted a brutal breakdown about where both Sapp and Watts stand on the 2nd Amendment, and it shows how poorly pro-2 Amendment advocacy groups view Mr. Watts views when it comes to our constitutionally and God-Given rights to bear arms.

Sapp passed with flying colors and has a longstanding history supporting the 2nd Amendment.

Sapp’s opponent Jamie Watts even lost the endorsement of incumbent Republican State Representative Bobby Payne, who said the optics of his endorsement and the endorsement itself were “not credible,” considering what he now knows about Watts’ background.

Watts has had a checkered past in both his personal and professional life, so much so that current House District 20 Representative Bobby Payne had to revoke his endorsment of Jamie Watts in the GOP primary.

In November, Watts responded to inquiries from Florida’s Voice after records revealed two separate women had accused him of harassment. One woman was his ex-wife who sought and secured a restraining order against him.

The other woman was an ex-girlfriend who filed a police report with the St. Johns Sheriff’s Office after he allegedly “threatened to expose pictures of her” on the internet.

In a petition for injunction filed the ex-wife of Watts in 2021, she checked off that Watts had a history of mental health issues and that he had been a subject of a Baker Act proceeding.

Watts is also a licensed funeral director and embalmer who operates several funeral homes including his family’s business, Watts Funeral Home.

According to a Clay County Sheriff’s arrest report of Watts from 2008, Director of Environmental Health at Putnam County Health Department John Holmes said Watts Funeral Home was inspected for a sanitary nuisance complaint and “caught them pumping contents of their septic tank onto their own property” in 2005, allegedly violating the Florida Litter Law.

Watts was arrested two years after the incident in 2008 and was charged with one count of felony dumping.

Former Florida undercover detective James Copenhaver, who also served on the Joint Terrorism Task Force after 9/11, told this GP reporter that Watts lacks the transparency and integrity that he needs to be considered for public office.

In a time when the stakes for our nation have never been higher, it’s disheartening to see a candidate like Jamie Watts slip through the cracks due to inadequate vetting. The people of Florida’s 20th State House District deserve a leader who is both transparent and trustworthy—qualities that Watts clearly lacks.

The revelations about his past raise serious concerns about his judgment and character. The endorsement loss is a clear sign that Watts is not the right person for the job. We must be vigilant in ensuring that those who seek to represent us are thoroughly vetted and can stand up to the scrutiny that comes with public office.”

The race has even caught the attention of longtime Trump ally and confidant Roger Stone, who has thrown his support behind Judson Sapp for the upcoming August 20th primary election.

Judson Sapp is the kind of man who wants to go to Tallahassee to get things done for the people. It’s not about him being a big shot or wanting a big title. He will never become part of the Tallahassee swamp and will always put the people of his district,” Stone concluded.
