Fake News Outlet Orlando Weekly Is Going Broke

Pleas for readers to “DONATE” to the alt-left propaganda site began popping up at the bottom of their “news” articles recently.

Though slightly more interesting than their mainstream media counterpart the Orlando Sentinel, the alt-left publication known as the Orlando Weekly is a one-stop-shop for deranged Trump hating propaganda.

They support the violent domestic terrorist organization Antifa and applaud the illegal coup attempt currently being led by California Congressman Adam Schiff. Mr. Schiff’s campaigns for congress have been funded by a Ukranian arms dealer, which is interesting considering that he is upset at President Trump for exposing fellow Democrat Joe Bidens corrupt dealings with a Ukrainian based company.

While it is becoming more and more common for independent journalists and news publications to ask for money as they become censored or deplatformed by tech platforms for engaging in wrongthink, well-funded publications like the Orlando Weekly have never faced censorship or deplatforming that would justify readers donating to their “news” publication. Orlando Weekly traffics in predictable anti-Trump drivel and celebrates the censorship of anyone they and the tech-left determine to be “undesirables.”

Here is how they are approaching readers, begging for money.

Consider supporting local journalism.

Our small but mighty local team works tirelessly to bring you high-quality, uncensored news and cultural coverage of Central Florida. Unlike many newspapers, ours is free – and we’d like to keep it that way, because we believe, now more than ever, everyone deserves access to accurate, independent coverage of their community.

Whether it’s a one-time acknowledgement of this article or an ongoing pledge, your support helps keep Orlando’s true free press free.

It is hilarious how the Orlando Weekly thinks that they bring the Central Florida community “high-quality” and “uncensored news”.

Where they providing high-quality and uncensored news when they jubilantly reported on and encouraged a local political forum to be canceled because I was set to be one of the moderators opposite Black Lives Matter activist T.J. Legacy Cole?

Where they providing high-quality and uncensored news when they encouraged people to violently attack members of congress after North Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz was assaulted outside a townhall event he had just held with his constituents?

Where they providing high-quality and uncensored news when they wrote a story about me (which was full of lies) and one of their journalists ended the fake news article with stating that he did not reach out to me because he claimed “We did not reach out to Engels for this story because he lies every single time we attempt to have a correspondence with him.”

They also claim that they provide accurate and independent coverage in Central Florida, yet they have never published any articles that are written from the conservative standpoint. In their mind, extreme left-wing “news coverage” is both accurate and independent. Until they show a willingness to publish all viewpoints, like we do at Central Florida Post, this is a flat-out lie.

I understand that is must be hard and costly for them to maintain an office environment where hundreds of gender identities are recognized and respected. I understand that it really hard to live with an extreme case of Trump Derangement Syndrome. However, like all leftists… someone else must pay (or donate in this case), to keep them afloat.

Hopefully this is a sign that they are about to go out of business or are in a really bad spot financially. Every single journalist at Orlando Weekly is over compensated and has little to no talent. Maybe they should clean house and make some new hires before begging their readers to open up their pocketbooks. Or try providing some original and unique content. Or let a conservative publish something from time to time.

Just a thought.
