State Representative Mike Miller’s unusual vote to fund Planned Parenthood continues to cause him trouble in his race for congress.

Sanford businessman Scott Sturgill is not mincing words in a new TV ad and direct mail campaign highlighting his opponents stand against defunding Planned Parenthood in the state legislature.
As reported earlier last week by the Central Florida Post, Mike Miller was one of three Republicans to stand against pro-life groups and Governor Rick Scott, and in their quest to defund Planned Parenthood several years ago.
On Friday, Sturgill’s campaign released a brutal ad featuring two women thanking Mike Miller for protecting their right to have an abortion and for funding abortions with taxpayer funds. Miller’s campaign has billed his record as 100% pro-life, a flat-out lie.

Hitting on the same exact day as the TV ad, Sturgill’s campaign also mailed a tongue-in-cheek “Thank You” letter from Planned Parenthood addressed to Mike Miller.

Sturgill is backed by Florida Right to Life, Seminole County Sheriff Dennis Lemma, former Congresswoman Sandy Adams, and top Trump advisor Roger Stone.
Miller’s campaign has been supported by Never Trump icon Marco Rubio and a George Soros funded GOP sham group.
Voters head to the polls on August 28th. The winner of this primary will face first term Democrat Stephanie Murphy.
