In the majority Seminole County based congressional district 7, Scott Sturgill is racking up a significant amount of hometown support.
After garnering endorsements from Seminole County Tax Collector Joel Greenberg and Sheriff Dennis Lemma, the Sturgill campaign is now touting the backing of three heavyweights in local politics.
Longwood Mayor Joe Durso, who is now running for Seminole County Commission, joins fellow Mayor Jeff Triplett of Sanford in supporting Sturgill’s ambitions.
Larry Dale of the Sanford International Airport is also endorsing Sturgill, giving the first time congressional candidate a substantial edge among Seminole County voters.
“Our campaign gets stronger each and every day. In turn, DC insiders are worrying more and more about being held accountable by the residents of this district,” said Sturgill.
