According to a press release and confirmed by paperwork on the Orange County Supervisor of Elections website, Angie Gallo will take a shot at becoming District 1’s next school board member in Orange County.

Gallo was born and raised in Central Florida, and is a graduate of the University of Central Florida.

“Advocating for education has become one of my top priorities,” said Gallo.  “A quality education for one child can change one child’s future, but a quality education for all of our children changes the future of our community.  I am honored to have the opportunity to represent the children and families of District 1.

Their oldest daughter attends Florida State University and is a graduate of East River High School, while their youngest daughter is currently a senior at East River High School.
