Jacqueline Siegel, wife to timeshare mogul David Siegel, could be the Republican answer to Democrat attorney John Morgan.
UPDATE: Jacqueline Siegel shared our article on her Facebook page and said it was “an idea worth consideration.”

With super attorney John Morgan making another clever play for earned media, many in Republican circles have been left wondering… what is our counter?
Now, we’re not talking about someone with elected experience, but someone with immense wealth and the ability to grab headlines.
If Morgan is not head faking us like Donald Trump did several times before capturing the GOP nomination and winning the Presidency, he should not be taken lightly.
John Morgan is great with people, can churn out front page stories on the daily, and has politicking experience to match his checkbook.
And that’s where Jacqueline Siegel comes in.
Now this might be my most far out prediction in a while. But in the era of Trump, Jacqueline Siegel is a serious contender, just as John Morgan is.
She became famous worldwide as the star of the documentary “The Queen of Versailles”, and is of course married to Westgate CEO David Siegel.
Mrs. Siegel is active throughout the state with the Westgate Foundation and runs a discount thrift/resell store in West Orange County.
Plus, she and her husband are close personal friends of President-elect Donald J. Trump.
Jacqueline even dated The Donald before marrying David Siegel.
While some see her as nothing more than a socialite, she has a knack for self-promotion and a big heart.
The GOP had thought at one point to recruit her for a U.S. Senate run before Marco Rubio got back in the race, but it was not the right move.
A computer engineer by trade, she was one of the first female employees at IBM before she became a model.
Her campaign would be focused on addressing the drug epidemic in Florida, working to solve homelessness… tackling tough issues like Bright Futures funding and preserving our environment.
The Siegels lost their daughter Victoria last year to an overdose, and have spent their time since raising money for Victoria’s Voice, a foundation dedicated to fighting drug abuse and addiction.
Mrs. Siegel would be a self-funder and benefits from a strong standing within the LGBT community, a mark of New Age Republicans.
She could be the first of many close friends to President-elect Trump to test the model on a statewide platform and she could win.
Frankly, she just might be the only Republican in Florida who could match John Morgan in the press and with her checkbook.
Jacqueline Siegel for Governor… time to #MakeFloridaGlamorousAgain!
