Trump’s Best Choice For AG Is Hillary’s Worst Nightmare

Popular Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi is quickly becoming a leading contender for Attorney General of the United States under Trump.

Hillary Clinton has suffered an embarrassing defeat, but she might not find much time to rest as Trump nears his inauguration in January of 2017.

Less than 24 hours after the polls closed, Florida’s Attorney General and top Trump booster was being considered for a spot in his administration, according to the Miami Herald.

This is a huge problem for the Clinton family and their allies. An outsider and political newcomer, Bondi stormed her way to become Florida’s Attorney General, riding a populist boom much like Trump.

As Attorney General, Bondi has dismantled hundreds of pill mills with surgical precision.

Bondi has also worked to combat the heroin and opioid epidemic. During the 2016 election, she emerged as a top surrogate and supporter of the Manhattan businessman, passionately spreading his message.

Most agree that Bondi is in contention for a spot in the Trump presidency, but Chris Christie is also working hard to secure a place as well.

Christie almost certainly wants to be Attorney General, but the “Bridgegate” baggage would make a confirmation highly unlikely.

That’s where Bondi comes in.

Bondi’s problems lie with a donation from Donald J. Trump Foundation that went to a PAC supporting her campaign, but Trump has since refunded the money to the foundation.

Her chances would be much greater than Christie’s. As always though, confirmations can be unpredictable.

There is no chance that even the best candidate has a 100% chance of being confirmed.

Our intel suggests that Christie is would be a more logical choice for White House Counsel, a Presidential appointment that does not need confirmation.

In this role, Christie could continue as a top Trump lieutenant… without a tough confirmation.

And that creates the opening for Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi.

Bondi’s history of cracking down on Florida’s drug problems mirror Trump’s repeated focus on promising to end the heroin and opioid epidemic across the U.S.

Orlando resident David Siegel, CEO of Westgate Resorts, who lost his daughter to an accidental overdose, is a close friend of Trump and would likely be a major advocate for Bondi.

Ms. Bondi could also help President Trump demonstrate he is committed to lifting female leaders up, working to repair his shaky standing with the female electorate.

Probably and most importantly, Bondi would be the perfect Attorney General to prosecute the political corruption exhibited by the Clinton machine.

Who better than the media savvy Bondi, a rising leader in the Republican Party, to hold the Clintons’ accountable once and for all?
