Americans for Prosperity-Florida (AFP-FL), the state’s leading grassroots advocacy organization will celebrate the opening of a new Community Center on Wednesday, March 23 in Winter Park.

AFP-FL will hold an open house for their new Central Florida office this Wednesday from 6pm to 8pm, hosted by the National Director of the Americans for Prosperity Foundation, Chase Downham.
According to a press release, In the days and months ahead, the Community Center will be used for activism classes, educational seminars, phone banking operations and more.
“Americans for Prosperity continues to invest in the growth of our footprint in the sunshine state to help improve the lives of Floridians,” said state director for Americans for Prosperity-FL, Chris Hudson. “We are here to advance positive change in Florida through community outreach, and by educating Floridians about the principles of freedom. This new office will be a place for people to learn about the impact of economic freedom on the lives and wellbeing of the families and entrepreneurs that call this community home.”
Area residents and organizations are invited and welcomed to attend and to tour the new community center, which will be available for outside groups and organizations to use. Interested parties should register online here for this free event.
Andres Malave, Americans for Prosperity’s leading Central Florida operative says the opening of the community center is a step in the right direction for AFP’s growing local area plans.
“This new office will help us better serve the Central Florida community and will continue to be a place where concerned citizens can get the tools and training they need to join the fight for better governance out of D.C., Tallahassee, and city hall. We’ve come a long way since being founded in 2010.
“We want to build on recent policy victories and continue to empower this community with the best resources available to fight for the principles they believe in to make this community and Florida the best place to raise a family and start a business.”
The new community center and command post for AFP’s Central Florida operations is located at 2250 Lee Road, Suite 202 in Winter Park.
