NFIB Endorses Asher In SD13 Race

    Senate District 13 Front-runner Dean Asher Endorsed by Independent Business Group.

    Yesterday the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) hosted a luncheon where they announced their official endorsement of Dean Asher, candidate for Florida Senate District 13. Walter Carpenter, Florida SAFE Trust Chairman, presented the check during the luncheon.

     

    After accepting the check, Asher said, “NFIB represents every independent business in Florida. Where can we go without touching an independent business owner in Florida. We must do everything we can to make sure these businesses can operate and grow in this great state.”

     

    NFIB represents 325,000 small and independent business owners united by the mission to promote and protect the right to own, operate and grow business. The NFIB SAFE Trust operates through voluntary contributions from its members to serve as the most powerful and effective small business political action committee in the country.

     

    Dean Asher is pro-jobs, pro-business, Orlando native who leads a successful 63-year-old real estate business, Don Asher & Associates, Inc. As a leader in the real estate field, Asher served as President of the Florida Realtors in 2013 and received the Florida Realtor of the Year award in 2014. Asher also serves an active role in his community on multiple boards and is an Eagle Scout.

     

    Asher is the leading candidate in the race to replace outgoing Senate President Andy Gardiner, who is termed out in the East Orlando seat.
