Florida Simulation Summit To Be Held In Orlando September 16th

    Tech leaders will hold court in mid September to showcase billion dollar simulation industry.

    Orange County Mayor Teresa Jacobs and the National Center for Simulation will host the Florida Simulation Summit next month in Orlando. With the Summit, the goal is to showcase how all kinds of businesses can utilize simulation.

     

    The highlights of the summit will be the multi-billion dollar simulation industry, focusing on how to identify the opportunities for businesses to commercialize said simulation. Simulation is a key enabler in many industries beyond just defense, with it also playing a major role in entertainment, education, health care, energy, transportation, and manufacturing.

     

    Speakers will include Walt Disney World Director of Technology and Analysis Michael Tschanz, President of CAE Healthcare Dr. Robert Amyot, Chief of Strategic Alliances at Space Florida Dale Ketcham, and Center for Advanced Transportation Systems Simulation Professor and Chair at the University of Central Florida, Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Aty, PE.
