Orange County Tax Collector, Scott Randolph will have a grand opening ceremony for the new South Orange office on Sand Lake Road and Voltaire Drive in the Terrace at the Florida Mall Plaza. The office will open on Monday, May 11th at 12 PM and have 25 clerk stations, a dealer service area, 12 permit testing centers and seating available for over 120 customers to better serve Orange County residents.

This office will be equipped with the new queuing system, SmartPass, which allows customers to be in line from their phones, continue their errands, and notify them when they need to arrive at Orange County Tax Collector offices.

“This will be the first time road testing will be available to the southern part of Orange County. Offering expanded services at 5 of our 7 offices and having bilingual staff at all of them will help with the continuous population growth Orange County has been experiencing.”

The offices serve approximately 700 people every day and expanding the South Orange location is part of the Tax Collector’s commitment to providing faster, even more efficient customer service with new technology improving interactions with the office.

The new location will open after the ribbon cutting ceremony and a community event featuring other plaza tenants to showcase the goods and services that are available to our diverse customer population, a release from the Orange County Tax Collector stated.
