And I’ve Got One More Little Econ.(But I’m not gonna let ’em catch me, no).

Music festivals are an integral part of summer fun for the masses! To some, however, they are a way of life, and continue year round. Festivals like Little Econ Love Fest (and many of the other amazing festivals held at Maddox Ranch in Florida) offer a smaller environment with a more personal experience. There is a very tight-knit community of people that appear at places like Little Econ who are ready to share art, spirituality, music, love, and memories with newcomers and veterans alike. The groups that are booked for festivals at Maddox Ranch, and smaller scale music festivals in general, are locally loved and revered in neighboring areas’ music communities.

Nights are long, decorations and setups are sporadic…and everything oozes heart. If you think Bonnaroo is the hippie-having, positivity-radiating, friendly-people-attracting music festival, you ain’t seen nothing yet. Check out the official press release for Little Econ Love Fest below, and make your way to Maddox Ranch this March for an amazing experience!

Little Econ Love Fest returns to Maddox Ranch with Toubab Krewe as Headliners

The What’sit Records team will be bringing the Little Econ Love Fest back to Maddox Ranch at 2211 W Bella Vista St. in Lakeland, Florida, March 26, 2015 to March 29, 2015 with a lineup that represents eclectic, new, original music from around the Southeast. Tickets are currently on sale online at ihateradio.org/lilelf for the early bird price of $50 and in person at any What’sit Records sponsored events, such as the What’sit Record Wonder Showzy and Twisted Tusdays at Red Lion Pub. This year’s festival headliners are world-tribal, folk-jam maestros Toubab Krewe and Orlando’s own time traveling medicine show, The Mud Flappers. Headlining alongside these performers will be Jacksonville based psychedelic, jamtronica powerhouse S.P.O.R.E., and Central Florida’s funk favorites Holey Miss Moley.

The musical line-up for this year’s festival will feature music from across the spectrum of genre with live performances from Displace, Deaf Poets, The Getbye, Leisure Chief, Christian Ryan’s Solquarian Revue, The Wooly Bushmen, Dem’ Lil’ Econ Boyz, Post Pluto, The Welzeins, and Shotgun Betty, just to name a few from the 30+ band line-up. We’re excited to be hosting these performances across a variety of stages, including a 200 capacity Silent Disco. The scene would not be set without Little Econ Love Fest’s ever expanding family of artists and vendors bringing the music to life with vivid color and imagination. Art coordinator, Orlando local “Snews,” and vending coordinator John James, of Warlock Designs, have painstakingly combed the talented, artistic communities of Central Florida to find unique styles of expression to present for sale or appreciation at this year’s Love Fest. In addition, Dillon Endico of Because of the Lotus has provided the blueprints for a plethora of new and exciting accents to decorate the grounds of Maddox Ranch.

This Central Florida grown community gathering started 5 years ago on the banks of the Little Econ River in the heart of East Orlando and has grown continuously ever since. Wellness workshops will be provided by Rising Light, a nonprofit organization working to empower individuals and build better communities through education and inspiring active engagement in personal growth, social concerns, and environmental issues. In addition, the What’sit Records team will be featuring community teachers throughout the weekend, including a percussion workshop led by Luke Quaranta of Toubab Krewe. It is the goal of What’sit Records to showcase the many varied talents of the Southeast in an atmosphere that cultivates discussion, promotes bonding, and facilitates community growth and networking. In other words, Little Econ Love Fest 2015 is meant to me just that, a Love Fest. We hope to see you on the Ranch! What’sit Records is a collective of individuals dedicated to the booking, management, and promotion of artists with an emphasis on community building.
