For the past four years, Celebration transplant Tiffany Bayley has been building quite the reputation for herself and her business Avalon Park Jewelers in East Orlando. Locals know her for her outgoing personality and knack for helping clients find the perfect piece of jewelery for every occasion – big or small. Bayley’s party planning skills have become part of local lore, with her signature yearly event – Diva’s, Diamonds & Drinks solidifying itself as a must attend event.

Having worked with Bayley in the past, I was around to help her plan her first Divas event, which started the tradition of the immensely popular 30-second shopping spree & crowning of the night’s official “Diva.”

“Our first Divas, Diamonds, & Drinks event was very successful. Everyone had a blast, and it allowed me to get to know the community. We were still getting our footing, but the Divas event proved to be very helpful in building long lasting relationships with local area residents,” Bayley said of her first Divas, Diamonds & Drinks event.

At the second annual Divas, Diamonds & Drinks event held in 2012 – Bayley said the word was out that event provided great deals, fun drinks, and amazing food.

“Divas, Diamonds & Drinks is the only time of the year where you can get up to 70% off our amazing pieces. With it always being so close to the holidays, husbands would be wise to mark this in their calendar,” explained Bayley.

The 3rd annual Divas, Diamonds & Drinks event in 2013 was the year that things really changed.

“Last year people actually showed up hours in advance to be first in the store. It was humbling to see so many people so eager to spend a night with our amazing staff and have the opportunity to party the night away while getting deals that put Black Friday to shame,” said Leslie Huff – Bayley’s top employee.

This years Divas, Diamonds & Drinks event was held last Saturday – and it should come as a surprise to no one that it was even bigger and better. Bayley told us that she made sure to mark the 4th annual event with plenty of extra goodies and giveaways – ranging from signature drinks, custom designed cups, t-shirts, and gift bags filled to the brim.

Just some of the delicious snacks at Divas, Diamonds & Drinks.

“Everyone enjoyed the fabulous over-the-top cupcake, candy and dessert buffet designed by Sweet Bliss Couture Candy Stations,” boasted Craig Greene – Bayley’s fiance.

Like last year, women lined up outside Avalon Park Jewelers hours in advance of the event, many bringing their own chairs – willing to spend their afternoon waiting to get a chance to become the night’s “Diva” and take advantage of the food, drinks, and deals.

“Upon arrival we found the sidewalk outside the store setup like a red carpet event. A table filled with freshly baked cupcakes almost too pretty to eat. Cake-pops and candy laid out in the most decadent ways. Waitstaff walked about with trays of mini martini glasses filled with appetizers. Inside their was plenty of shopping and of course, the drinks. So many flavors to choose from and a sweet diamond encrusted cup with a glowing straw.” said Stephanie – a first time attendee.

Divas, Diamonds & Drinks veterans like Melinda McGrath raved about another successful event.

“Tiffany is amazing. Her team delivered another phenomenal Divas, Diamonds & Drinks. Avalon Park loves Avalon Park Jewelers,” exclaimed McGrath – who Tiffany said has become a regular customer over the past few years.

In the end, Dayana Sagura Heavner was crowned “Diva of the Night” and received a custom designer necklace by Frank Reubel. She also walked away with a spa package from Spa Longetiva and a live shopping spree.

Miss Sagura Heavner wore her crown with grace.

When asked about her plans for next years Divas, Diamonds & Drinks – Bayley said it will be more extravagant and luxurious than ever. “The planning and preparation is not easy and means a lot of late nights, but it’s worth it – to see everyone so happy and enjoying each others company.”

Avalon Park Jewelers will hold their Christmas party on December 13th from 6pm to 9pm. Call the store to RSVP ANYTIME BEFORE DECEMBER 10th at 321 235 5553.
