Well-Rounded EP From AP Harris

    By Patrick Kabot

A few weeks back I had a chance to chat with local artist AP Harris after an acoustic show he was playing at Caboose Bar. I told him that I really dug the music and he gave me a copy of his new EP “Fillavoid” so that I could hear the songs with a full band, and was pretty damn impressed!

“Fillavoid” offers several different sounds. The core of the sound is primarily influenced by folk, but bluesy riffs and slide guitar are heavily implemented. The first track “Ode To Hopeful Youth” features some spacious distorted guitar parts that give a psychedelic vibe.

All in all, this is a well-rounded album that displays some great musicianship. I’d certainly recommend it.

8/10. To get your own copy hit up AP on Facebook!
