Kudos on the new gig Maria Rodammer. Shining for Avalon Park & East Orlando
By Jacob Engels
Florida Bank of Commerce (FBC), one of Central Florida’s fastest growing community banks, recently announced the appointment of Maria Rodammer as the Lake Nona Market Manager. This news comes on the heels of the bank’s announcement that its seventh location will open in Lake Nona in the coming months.
In her new role, Rodammer will lead the market expansion, working directly with clients who are seeking solutions for their personal and business banking needs. She has been in the commercial banking industry in Central Florida for more than 13 years, having served most recently at Regions Bank, where she worked for five years. She is passionate about playing an integral role in the growth of her client’s businesses.
She is a graduate of the University of Central Florida, where she received dual degrees in Management Information Systems and Marketing in 2000. She lives in East Orlando with her family, and considers it incredibly important to model a commitment to the community that she can pass on to her children. She is presently involved with The Rotary Club of Avalon Park, the East Orlando Chamber of Commerce and UCP of Central Florida.
“We strategically waited until the time was right to open this new location, and a major part of our timing was finding the right leadership for this new office,” said Dana Kilborne, President and CEO of Florida Bank of Commerce. “Maria brings such a dynamic presence to this flourishing market and her commitment to being a banker to her clients fits perfectly with our corporate culture.”
At this time, Kilborne and Rodammer are scouting temporary locations for the bank’s new Lake Nona office with plans to move into a permanent facility by the summer.
