Lauren Schorejs, the East Orlando teen who went missing 16 days ago has been found. Nicole Gutierrez, Laurens mother had recently enlisted the help of Operation Found Safe – as well as creating a facebook page aimed at helping find her missing daughter. Private Investigator Jim Randle and the Orange County Sheriff’s Office were actively investigating the case.

Lauren was last seen in the Timber Springs neighborhood off Avalon Park Boulevard in East Orlando. Later that night – someone fitting Lauren’s description was spotted in hookah lounge in Brandon, Florida.

“We got an anonymous phone call from a girl who knows Lauren the night she went missing and she told us that Lauren was safe” said Gutierrez.

Her mother said that she took most of her clothes and jewelry the night she disappeared and believes that she had a ride. We will post more details about her safe return home when we have them.
