Super Bowl 2014 – Our Favorite Ads & Partisan Predictions

    By Jacob Engels

I will be the first to admit that I have not followed professional football regularly in several years. In fact, I think the last time I watched a season start to finish was when my beloved Chicago Bears took the NFC North in 2010. However, like all people – I love watching the commercials on Super Bowl Sunday. So, I have assembled my favorite picks and put them below.

BTW – I figured it would be fun to get some predictions on the outcome of today’s big game from local politicos. Sean Ashby, who serves as Chairman of the recently formed “Citizens for Informed Elections” PAC will represent the Democrats. Peter Vivaldi, candidate for congress in Florida’s 9th congressional district will carry the banner for Republicans.

Both have the Denver Broncos winning. Ashby says he expects the Broncos to win by a 36-21 margin. Vivaldi says they win 28-17.

**Orange County Republican Executive Committee Chairman Lew Oliver jumped in the mix and he says Denver by 8!

**Rene “Coach P” Plasencia just texted and he thinks the Broncos will win by 10!

**Orange County Commissioner Pete Clarke has Denver winning 34-27.

    My top picks —

    Jaguar – British Villains Rendezvous’

    Audi – Doberhuahua

    Apple – iPad Air
