During the past academic semester at UCF, I have been involved in producing several short films with UCF’s Film BFA students. From procuring a horde of ambulances to catering a fully vegetarian set with over 30 people, I have been a busy bee. However, the effort I have put into these productions is no where near the dedication and sheer determination I witnessed from the UCF Film students. They really work their asses off building their films from concept to completion, braving many a sleepless nights in the process.

From selling your kidney for a quick buck to crumbling friendships, the films screening at this event are worth seeing and offer something for everyone.

Some of my quick picks are “Tongues” by Jason Jack Underwood, “The Audition” by Kade Dalton, “Culture of Fear” by Justin Lance, “Repressed” by Lacie Ratliff, “Dani” by Sean Osorio, “Some Kind of Tick or Something” by Hayden Greiwe, and “The Georgia Study” by the lovely Jessica Keller.

The films are at most 5 minutes, and there will be a brief 15 minute intermission after the first 12 films have screened. It is located in the Visual Arts Building, auditorium 132. Doors open at 630PM, and the screening takes place from 7PM to 10PM. Parking is free for attendees that park in Garage F.
