Charlie Crist has finally jumped in the pool after nearly a year of “testing the water.” Earlier today, Crist re-launched charliecrist.com complete with a campaign style message and video.

“Only you, the people, can get Florida back to common sense. Tell me how I can help. Share your comments with me here — I’ll read every last one. I work for you, the people. I always have, and always will.” the site reads with a form for prospective supporters to fill out.

On Facebook & Twitter, Crist simotaneously launched a campaign video titled “Tell Me How I Can Help.”

As of 2:30 this afternoon, the facebook status annoucning the video had close to 400 likes, 225 comments, and 89 shares. A tweet from @charliecristfl sharing the video has garnered 36 re-tweets and 12 favorites.

While Crist has not officialy announced or filed paperwork for a comeback bid for Governor, this all but makes it official. Defacto leader of “The Society of the Tarpon Belt” & Crist cheerleader ( also husband of top Crist aide Michelle Todd) has filed a permit with the city of St. Petersburg hinting at a possible announcement event for Crist on November 4th.

Looks like Rick Scott will have to face “The Peoples Governor” afterall.
