Sources tell the East Orlando Post that Governor Rick Scott’s top aide, Adam Hollingsworth personally approved the controversial $25,000 a head ALLIGATOR HUNT fundraiser solicitation that went to ten “heavy hitters” until one lobbyist invited tipped the Miami Herald.
The event was quickly cancelled and everyone played dumb. Scotts’s people referred the Miami Herald to the Scott’s “Let’s Go to Work” PAC not the RPOF.
“Many Republicans are stunned by his dumping of Common Core education policy popular with the Tea Party, his decision to appeal the “drug tests for state employees” rulings of the courts which we a hopeless waste of money and now the “Great Gator Hunt of 2013” said one veteran Republican County Chairman. “I like Rick, but he has a tin ear and his people are hard to work with,” he said.
“Where are the guys who ran the flawless campaign in 2010? These people are tone deaf and arrogant” he said. “Scott’s people act like he’s 20 ahead instead of 20 behind.”
