From time to time, we will be focusing on interesting local businesses, causes, and individuals in our new “Local Focus” column. Sometimes it will be written by me, other times by someone else. First up, East Orlando’s Ready INC. We interviewed Ready INC owner Rob Henlon.
What is Ready INC?
We’re a unique company that help organizations increase their clientele through business consultation, branding, graphics, web design, internet marketing, and logos. I worked in the corporate world for and learned that I possessed a blend of skills that is not as common as you would think; creativity, technical knowledge, and a strong worth ethics. I brought the idea to a couple of other like-minded individuals, my sister Jessica, and my mom Rosa and we started Ready Inc. The name “Ready” represents the state of mind we were in when we decided that it was time to start the company.
How long have you been in business?
We’ve been in business for 2 years.
What does a typical day at Ready INC look like?
By 8:30 each morning we’re checking our email for updates from our project managers on all open projects and determining the game plan for the day. Jessica and I handle handle most of the face-to-face client meetings, so from our stand point it’s checking the schedule for meetings. We try to return all emails and texts by noon, and focus on generating new business by the day.
What are some exciting projects that you are currently working on?
We find all of projects exciting as they unique and provide their own challenges. But as an example of our diverse clientele, we are working with a non-profit organization Safety and Firearm Education (SAFE) of Florida out of Winter Park http://safefla.org/ .Phase one of their website is up and running, and phase two I think will be even more exciting. In addition to education the community and their youth firearm training Program, phase two of their site will provide High quality firearm accessories, many which are custom made and cannot be found elsewhere.
On the other extreme, we’re also handling promoting and PR for Downtown Orlando Fashion Week 2013. We’ve promoted big events before, but I have to admit, coordinating a week-long event in downtown Orlando is pretty exciting. Anyone interested in sponsorship, attending, volunteering, or fashion in general should definitely check out the website http://downtownorlandofashionweek.com/. Under the leadership of our Chief Information Officer Jessica Henlon, our Chief Editor Mellissa Thomas, and some of our other featured writers, they’ve put together a beautiful piece.
How can people find out more about Ready INC?
The easiest way would be to visit our website Readyinc.com. But we are also available by email at info@readyinc.com or by phone (321)209-4567
PS – Below is a video Ready INC put up a few weeks ago highlighing exactly what it is that they do. ENJOY.
