Local band Sela Dors is what THE PEOPLE want to hear. In just a few short months, they have gone from playing a show at Odin’s Den to a full-fledged tour through North Florida. Now…later this week, Sela Dors will be jamming out at Backbooth.
Booked Promotions, who organized the show has also locked down Variance, The Invocation, Shout London, and Toska for a night dubbed “Hands Down It’s Downtown.”
Sela Dors frontman, Patrick Kabot had this to say about the past few days for the band and upcoming show.
“It’s gonna be our first Backbooth show, super stoked about that! This Thursday, 8/22. I’ve seen a lot of my favorite bands play there so it’ll be cool to be on the same stage as them!
We just did two shows. One in Haines City at the Shady Cove bar and grill and one at a house party in Gainesville right by UF. Both were really different but both were so much fun. Got to play with another Orlando band in Haines City called Irie Green Conundrum and got to play with one of Gainesville’s hometown hero’s Dungeons and Dagrons (Dagrons, not dragons haha) who killed it. As well as a few Miami bands. It was definitely one of the best days we’ve had with the band so far.”
PS – Tickets for the show on the 22nd, can be bought on Ticketmaster. How cool is that? Hell, these guys are making their momz proud no?
