The Oviedo Winter Springs Chamber of Commerce, HOPE, and the Florida Barbeque Association are hosting a two day BBQ blow out this weekend at the Oviedo Mall on May 24th & May 25th. On Friday, country music superstars Steel Magnolia will be head lining a concert, so this should be a pretty cool event. A full release from the Chamber is below —

Oviedo, Seminole County, Florida – Celebrate Florida’s newest event- Central Florida’s BBQ Blowout May 24th and 25th at the Oviedo Mall! This Florida Bar-B-Que Association (FBA) sanctioned family-friendly event includes an entire weekend of musical artists, games/rides, business and food vendors, brew and most of all BBQ! C’mon over Friday night at 7:00pm and for just $25 enjoy a Low Country Boil from TJ’s Seafood Shack, sampling of craft beer, and a live musical performance – direct from Nashville – Country music artists Steel Magnolia! Come back on Saturday for free admission all-day festivities, including riding a mechanical alligator… live music and BBQ!
Established in 2007, HOPE’s mission is to prevent and reduce homelessness in Central Florida by equipping individuals and families to become self-sufficient through Housing, Outreach, Prevention and Education. Since HOPE’s inception, thousands of individuals and families in crisis have been assisted through its Resource Center, Food Pantry and Thrift Store. HOPE is a 501c3 that currently serves over 300 families (800+ individuals) per week through our Food Pantry and offers additional programs to bring them to self sufficiency. “We’re extremely excited to be partnering with the Chamber and bringing together our strengths to make this a signature event for years to come,” said Joan Faulkner, CEO of HOPE Helps, Inc.
The Oviedo-Winter Springs Regional Chamber of Commerce is an advocate for business and civic interests within our communities.
