Tilt For Distance

    By Jered Gusso

To create more distance while using the driver, it is very important that you hit the ball on the UPSWING!  To help you hit the ball on the upswing, try setting up with a little extra upper body tilt behind the ball (right handed golfers tilt to the right).

Make sure the ball is placed forward in your stance, near your left foot.  It will give the feel like you are sweeping the ball off the tee.  Try it out and if you are still looking for more distance come see me at the Gusso Golf Academy at Stoneybrook Golf Club!
