Rollins College (WPRK 915FM)
We started our partnership with Orlando’s Best in Basement Radio in March of 2013. WPRK 915FM is a not for profit radio station run by Rollins College and provides Orlando with the best music not heard on the “big stations”. In addition to unique and independent music, WPRK 915FM boasts a line up of wide ranging talk shows that cover everything from politics to fairy tales. They have a live DJ in the studio 24 hours a day and reach hundreds of thousands of people each week. The East Orlando Post is proud to support an independently owned and independently minded local radio station like WPRK 915FM and we look forward to working with Rollins College in the future.
Avalon Park Foundation
The East Orlando Post is proud to be partnered with the Avalon Park Foundation, a charity that aims to help improve the social, physical, and economical health of the Avalon Park area and surrounding East Orlando neighborhoods. 10% of our profits are donated monthly to the Avalon Park Foundation to help them fund their initiatives.
Urban ReThink
The East Orlando Post is proud to be partnered with Urban ReThink, a creative and collaborative hub located in Orlando’s historic Thornton Park. Urban ReThink is a coworking space that offers annual memberships and coworking as well as volunteer and sponsorship opportunities intended to collectively help our community celebrate creative thought, inspiration, and innovations. Urban ReThink part of the 501(c)(3) nonprofit Urban Think! Foundation which supports local educational, creative, and cultural opportunities. Our writers and contributors are granted access to Urban ReThinks coworking space and are encouraged to give back to our community by participating in volunteer efforts led by Urban ReThink to help improve our Orlando.
Ready Inc.
The East Orlando Post is proud to be partnered with Ready Inc. Ready Inc’s Business Consultants help their clients develop creative solutions to achieve their vision to fruition through consultation, internet marketing, search engine optimization, promotional material print/design, branding, graphics, and web design. As part of our partnership with Ready Inc, they will be providing free services to local business to help them realize their full potential.
Sports Talk Florida
The East Orlando Post is proud to be partnered with Sports Talk Florida. Sports Talk Florida is run by Genesis Communications and provides local AM sports talk radio in the Orlando area, and all over the state of Florida. NBC Sports 1080AM “The Team” is our local Sports Talk Florida affiliate and will be providing the East Orlando Post with exclusive access to their content and hosts.
Jacob Engels, is the Founder of East Orlando Post. Along with the Post, he owns several other businesses and is currently enrolled at Valencia College. Jacob has lived in Avalon Park since it’s founding and enjoys playing with his black Labradoodle Jasper, listening to indie rock, and seeking out new business ventures.
